11 February is celebrated in Europe as the European 112 Day, aiming to increase awareness of the European emergency number 112. The European Emergency Number Association (EENA) proposes a theme each year that is then highlighted in European countries.

2016 is dedicated to raising awareness among Erasmus students, because they are the future of Europe and are at risk of not knowing of the emergency number 112. As a part of the event, the EENA is organizing a photo contest to help further promote the event. You too can take part in the 112 Day photo contest and win one of the prizes!

Participating in the event is simple. All you need to do is post a photo on Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #‎ISupport112 and tag the EENA (@112emergency for Facebook and @112_SOS for Twitter) and they will select the top three posts with the winner earning a 1 night stay in a beautiful 4-star hotel in Prague!
